One of the two Roman generals battling Hannibal in the first half of the Second Punic War. While Quintus Fabius became known as The Delayer for avoiding battle with Hannibal, Marcus Claudius Marcellus became known as The Sword of Rome for his battles with Hannibal which resulted in draws.
