About Us
We're both game devs with a great love for all kinds of video and board games. Nothing's better than working on a game all day long to then go back home and playing more games!
Finding board games outside of board game cafes and friends' suggestions can sometimes feel really... clunky, which is why we set up a website for a quicker, smoother experience!
Writing reviews from both our perspectives made the reviews feel more balanced as we have different reasons for why we might like or dislike similar things. It seemed like a no-brainer!
You can call us Anjali and Joshua! When we're not playing board games or DnD or video games, we're usually at our allotment growing our own food and pretty flowers.

How did we get into board games?
Well, after we went through our Monopoly phase at a younger age, both of us discovered that there is a great depth and wealth of board games beyond party games, where you somehow convince your friends to play an 8 hour game with you and we all enjoy the time spent fighting, sabotaging or cooperating. And that's besides when we play Dungeons and Dragons... or Daggerheart!

Anjali's journey from the past
Tokaido, a game about travelling in edo-Japan, while collecting art, mementos and enjoying food is one of the earliest board games my family played that strayed from the fray. One of the few and only times when Anjali's having a ton of fun travelling! While we don't play it as often now, it still has a soft spot for her, and is one of those games we like to pull out when we have friends over who like simple games with simpler rules.

Why did we start The Complete Gaming Directory?
Well, our collection of games started growing at a rapid pace when we began gifting each other board games for our birthdays. You wouldn't believe, but eventually we ran out of the popular titles, and were then briefly stumped on where next to search for and find good games without going through several pages of searches on other websites. So we decided to make something better!

Who we are
We're dreamers, gamers, makers of worlds, adventurers and big time foodies. When we're not making games for a living, we're attempting prototypes at home... and when we're not doing that, we're usually at our allotment growing flowers and fruit and veggies. You wouldn't believe the kind of flavour homegrown tomatoes have! Besides that, we go snowboarding occassionally, and often look for great restaurants to eat at.
