L'Encanteur - the French fish auctioneer
The bidding's master of ceremony - l'encanteur - used to sing prices.
The song-bidding system is a two-phase process : first, the price decreasing phase and then the price increasing phase.
Each player impersonates a restaurant owner.
Goal : Be the first to serve your secret fish-combination after having made your shopping at the song-bidding.
Game turns are played by pairs : morning is when you go to the song-bidding and buy your different species of fish or seafood, afternoon is when you try to serve the best your clients.
Number of players : 3 or 4
Ages 8 and up
Average length : 15-20 mn.
Number of cards : 110 cards (rulebook in French, English, Dutch, German)
